Things I Could Never Say to You

You hate to see me cry, but that night you don’t wipe my tears.

I see your eyes deeply the second I realize this is not going well. All I see is faith to end this. To finish something between you and me.

After we went through these past months with grey, here we are to declare.

“Udah. Sampe sini.”

Because we both know this is the ending we’ve been searching for.

But meeting you is not a regret for me, Kak. Sharing my secret while everyone is busy in this world is a blessing. You’re my safest place when the world is turning their back on me.

“Kita jalan lagi ya, tapi jalan yang beda.”

You see me walk away crestfallen yet relieved. I could have turned around and smiled at you one last time, but I chose not to. For my best, for our best.

But one thing that i know, i will always love you until the end of time; as long as the sun burns in the sky, as long as the moon shines its light into the dark night, until the raging blue oceans become calm and run dry.
